An ECB award winning cricket podcast featuring players and characters from Macclesfield Cricket Club, who play in the Cheshire cricket leagues in England. Macclesfield Cricket Club also has a long association with various professional players and coaches from the UK and Australia and we look forward to bringing them on the podcast soon! In September 2020, Get It Whacked was the recepient of a NatWest OSCA for proactive leadership in the community.

Today's episode features a true Macclesfield Cricket Club legend. Known to most as ‘The General’ he is responsible for countless funny stories, sledges and drinking games! Instantly recognisable by his distinctive laugh, he delights in tormenting his prey, both by the fine arts of flight and guile, and his acid whit, no pun intended. He’s always happy to put the bunnies in the hutch, Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Stephen Whittingham.
