An ECB award winning cricket podcast featuring players and characters from Macclesfield Cricket Club, who play in the Cheshire cricket leagues in England. Macclesfield Cricket Club also has a long association with various professional players and coaches from the UK and Australia and we look forward to bringing them on the podcast soon! Today's guest was born and raised in Macclesfield but now resides on the Gold Coast in Australia. A member of the 'double double' winning squad from the 90s, he is also synonymous with the singing of many club songs. A former groundsman at Macc, he relocated to Australia and spent 10 years as assistant curator at the Sydney Cricket Ground. He's got some amazing stories, including one about the great Shane Warne coming to Macclesfield CC, Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr Rick Shenton.
