A true modern day cricketer, he represents Nottinghamshire in all 3 formats of the game, together with various T20 franchises around the world. Today's guest was born and raised in Macclesfield but now resides on the Gold Coast in Australia. A member of the 'double double' winning squad from the 90s, he is also synonymous with the singing of many club songs. A former groundsman at Macc, he relocated to Australia and spent 10 years as assistant curator at the Sydney Cricket Ground. He's got some amazing stories, including one about the great Shane Warne coming to Macclesfield CC, Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr Rick Shenton.

Hailing from Cumbria, he made his way through the Cheshire County Cricket League, with a brief stint in the minor counties, to professional contract with Lancashire.
